Sussex County is expanding like crazy! We are seeing new developments everywhere we look. We have a plethra of incredible builders, each with unique qualities that appeal to different buyers. Unlike other states, Delaware builder representitives are NOT licensed agents. When you walk into a model home, like what you see and fill out the form, you are now their buyer. Not their client. There's a huge difference.
You then move forward, but you do not have anyone representing you. The builder rep has the builders best interest in mind. Bear in mind that this does NOT mean that the builder doesn't care about your wants/needs & happiness when building your home. It just meants that when push comes to shove, their top priority is to protect the builder (their boss).
